Four illegal immigrants were mistakenly identified as maintenance workers at NFL star quarterback Joe Burrow’s house, sources have confirmed.
The mix-up occurred when the four men, who were actually there to seek employment, were assumed to be the regular crew due to their possession of a toolbox and several ladders.
The confusion lasted several hours, during which the immigrants performed various odd jobs around Burrow’s residence, from cleaning gutters to fixing a leaky faucet—all under the watchful eye of Burrow’s security team, who praised their work ethic and even offered hydration tips. “They just showed up with tools and started working, so we figured Joe hired them,” one confused security guard mentioned.
Burrow, who was away at practice during the incident, returned home to find his house in better shape than he left it and initially thought nothing of it. It was only after reviewing security footage that he realized the mix-up.
As the story of mistaken identity and unexpected home improvement broke, it sparked a discussion about employment verification processes.
As of press time, the four men had received several job offers from neighbors impressed by their inadvertent audition for handyman roles.
Seeking employment my butt! It is a good thing Burrows “security team” was there. Growing up in So. Cal. in the ’60’s/’70’s I chased after “gardeners” who would leave with more than just their toolbox and ladders!
They are here illegally, take a job away from a company hired to do the work. Deport.a for effort but you need to be here legally
Fire the security team! They should never have made it past the security checkpoint. Good thing they weren’t there to do something bad.
Illegals are illegals send them home! We know these jobs to be given to the US citizens. How completely ignorant this security man allowing these people to show up and start working!!! Get these men and their families out of here.! First steps to get America back to the way it should be in. It has been thank God for Donald J Trump.!!!
