Mike Rapaport has hit South Beach to peddle his new line of “Joyless Jimmy T-shirts,” sources have confirmed.
The actor and comedian, known for his no-holds-barred commentary, decided that the sunny locale of Miami was the perfect spot to launch his sarcastic sartorial statement against gloom.
The shirts, which feature a cartoonish frown labeled ‘Joyless Jimmy,’ are Rapaport’s jab at what he sees as the pervasive culture of complaint among celebrities. “Everyone’s got something to whine about, even in paradise,” Rapaport quipped while hawking tees to a crowd of beachgoers, some amused and others perplexed.
Locals and tourists alike have been spotted snapping up the merchandise, some in support of Rapaport’s blunt humor, others just in need of something to dry off with after a dip in the ocean. “It’s like, wear your mood on your tee, man,” one buyer explained, adjusting his sunglasses.
Rapaport’s venture into fashion hasn’t gone unnoticed by other celebrities, who have hinted at launching their own lines of emotionally themed apparel. As of press time, plans for ‘Ecstatic Eddie’ and ‘Bitter Barbara’ spin-offs were already in the works, turning South Beach into a runway of feelings.
