In a staggering financial report, the pie industry has reported an unprecedented surge in the sales of its pumpkin variety this month.
“We’ve not seen a spike like this all year, I can’t figure it out,” said Roger Lash, VP of Crusts at Mega Pie Corp, the third largest pie manufacturer in North America. “We expect to see some kind of bump around the end of the year, holidays and cold weather and all that, but I simply cannot believe the amount of pumpkin pies we’re selling this year. Is this some TikTok trend or something I’m not aware of?”
Despite the confusion of executives, many consumers suspected there was a simple answer to the sales trend.
“People eat those at Thanksgiving,” said local resident Bruce Tyler. “I don’t think it’s rocket science, and I don’t know why all of these companies are pulling their hair out trying to overanalyze it and figure out some larger trend. It’s really not that complicated.”
As of press time, Mega Pie Corp has announced a blockbuster feature film based on its number-one-selling Pumpkin Pie that will reportedly star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as a giant pumpkin.
Roger Lash must be a dumbocrat.
And he believed jho buy Deng would not pardon hunter. What a dumb ass democrat. Sorry for the double negative.
