In a move aimed at enhancing transparency and accountability, Senate Democrats recently launched an online snitch service for citizens to report corruption, abuses of power, and threats to public safety. However, the platform quickly backfired when it became inundated with reports concerning the Democrats themselves, sources have confirmed.
The majority of these tips were not about small-town mayors or obscure bureaucrats, but high-profile figures including Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer, and Hillary Clinton.
Dubbed “Dems Dish Dirt,” the website was intended as a beacon of citizen engagement and oversight. Instead, it turned into a confession booth of grievances about how Democratic leaders have allegedly misused American tax dollars. “We hoped for whistleblower tips, but it seems we’ve opened a can of bipartisan worms,” a project coordinator mentioned, overwhelmed by the volume of submissions.
Complaints ranged from misappropriation of funds for personal travel to funding dubious “research” projects that suspiciously sounded like vacations. The top-reported allegation involved a scandalous amount of ice cream purchases charged to the White House account.
As of press time, Senate Democrats were considering rebranding the service to “Dem Dollars Drama,” and possibly adding a filter to screen out any tips involving ice cream expenditures.
