After her boyfriend Travis Kelce made a surprise appearance at her recent London concert, Taylor Swift surprised him and his Kansas City Chiefs teammates yesterday by entering the exhibition NFL game held at Wembley Stadium, leading to serious injuries.
“Wow, I can’t believe they let that happen,” said Patrick Hughes, a local resident that was checking the game out. “I knew American football was violent, but I didn’t know they let the men just level famous women like that. Is she okay? Why was she playing running back?”
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid defended the controversial coaching decision.
“Nobody thought it was going to go well,” said Reid, of the surprise substitution of America’s biggest pop star into the game against the Packers. “But she’s so famous, you can’t really turn a thing like that down. Plus, I love a trick play, something to keep the other team on their toes. Nobody saw this coming. Hopefully, her tour doesn’t get too delayed while she recovers.”
As of press time, Kelce had torn his ACL rehearsing for his next appearance at a Swift concert, which will cause him to miss the upcoming NFL season.
That’s her problem. Why is it news? No one made her, go I’m sure.
