Vice Presidential nominees J.D. Vance and the newly announced Tim Walz announced today that instead of the traditional debate, the two would hold a Vice Presidential Arm Wrestling contest later this fall, sources have confirmed.
“Debate schmebate, let’s see who’s stronger,” said Walz, the Governor of Minnesota that was tapped by Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign earlier this week. “We’re just the Vice Presidents after all. We add personality and balance to a ticket, and then we’re rarely heard from again. Me and J.D. talked about it over Diet Mountain Dew’s yesterday and decided let’s just give these people a good show.”
The newly announced Vice Presidential Arm Wrestling Contest excited voters all over the country.
“I love it, can’t wait to watch,” said Rich Smith, who said he plans to view the arm wrestling match when it airs on CNN. “It will in no way determine who I’m going to vote for, but these things rarely do. At least now I’ll be entertained, and I bet it will take a lot less time than those god-awful debates tend do.”
As of press time, inspired by the unconventional arm wrestling match being held by their partners, Kamala Harris had allegedly challenged Donald Trump to a round of the children’s card game “Bullshit. “
Who came up with this
??
I don’t want some b.s. arm wrestling contest. I want a debate on their issues! I want Walz to explain his radical leftist policies. I wand Vance to do the same!
Well said
why because you can NOT answer questions about how messed up this country is and how you plan to fix it or at least attempt to
or are all your lies the same and do nothing so a stupid arm wrestling content
HOW STUPID
This is just a pun, stupid!
Do you people not understand satire
No they don’t. They’re weird!
Vance needs to stick with an intelligent, adult, debate. This country needs to be governed by brain strength, not a goofball liberal woke lying socialist!
Arm wrestlers use their right arms or the left arms.
The article does reflect the pissing match of who did what in the military. Something I was so saddened, but not surprised to see JD take part in.
Sure we’d all like candidates that Can hold a historical debate and talk about their plans to lead. But we have not seen that from either candidate.
Hence the satire of the well written article.
But the cartoonist could google arm wrestling if he or she is not familiar with the activity; better yet ask AI to draw it.
It would be better if it noted that Waltz stated that he had participated and won when in fact he chickened out minutes before and was a no show like he did when he bailed out instead of going with his national guard unit to Iraq.
